Play'n GO's 100 Series – It's not just a number

Ever wondered what the 100 stands for in many of our popular titles such as GEMIX 100 and Rise of Olympus 100? While some might believe it’s just a quirky branding decision, there’s much more to it. You see, it’s not just a number...

Here at Play’n GO, we pride ourselves on our slot variety, both from thematic and gameplay standpoints. We’ve got titles ranging from the exciting mythologies of the Norse and ancient Egyptians as well as sea slots and sci-fi slots. Not only that, but our slots vary greatly in features, as well as reel sizes from classic 3x1 reel slots to popular 5x3 reel formats. Play’n GO also pioneered the grid slot style of game, bringing this iconic slot style to the iGaming community. But many will have seen that some of our game series include games with the number 100 at the end of their name.

So, what does this number really mean?

Which games are in the 100 series?

First, let’s shine a light on the titles which are included in this category. Currently, we have six games as part of the 100 series of titles. Our next release is GEMIX 100, an addition to both the 100 series of games as well as the GEMIX series itself.

We also have Rise of Olympus 100, Moon Princess 100, Sweet Alchemy 100, Honey Rush 100, and Viking Runecraft 100. All these titles boast similar features and aesthetics to the other games in their own series, but they share that same thing that makes them part of the 100 series.

Rise of Olympus 100

What does the number 100 mean?

When it comes to these games, the number 100 relates to a particular feature change that all of them share. Ultimately, the number 100 describes a change to certain caps found in the game, be that a change to the total number of Free Spins which can be awarded or the size of the game’s multiplier that can be earned.

This varies between games depending on which overall features are present. For example, in Rise of Olympus 100, the cap on Free Spins that can be earned has increased to 100 from 20 in the previous game, and similarly, the multiplier cap has also been raised to 100x from 20x, hence the name 100!

What’s next for the 100 series?

We’re constantly working on brand new titles to excite fans and bring something fresh to the world of iGaming. For this series in particular, our next addition is GEMIX 100. This title brings players back to the glittering kingdom of GEMIX, which coincidentally was one of our first ever grid slotsGEMIX 100 boasts a refreshed set of features, such as changes to the Pattern Clear feature, which provides a new pattern on each spin that can be cleared with any wins that occur over the pattern itself.

GEMIX 100 also offers players a raised cap to the game’s multiplier to – you guessed it – 100x! With each winning cascade, the game’s multiplier will increase by +1x, resetting once all cascades have ended for that round. This can potentially lead to some stellar combo wins as the multiplier climbs ever higher towards that 100x maximum.

So, hopefully that clears things up and provides some insight into why some of our games sport the number 100. It really isn’t just a number that we’ve plucked out of the air!
