Play’n GO Rock the Reels Once Again with Annihilator

Play’n GO have another hit on their hands with their latest music slot release Annihilator!

Annihilator is a slot tribute to the band of the same name, celebrating their decades of influence on the metal scene. The legendary Jeff Waters leads the band, one of music’s most celebrated guitarists and a noted influence on music from bands such as Megadeth, 3 Doors Down and Nickelback. Renowned music author Joel McIver ranked Waters as the third in his book The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists.

Annihilator features several of the group’s quintessential hits including a track from their latest album Ballistic, Sadistic as well as Waters himself, appearing as an animated Wild, shredding on his iconic guitar and setting the reels on fire. The game also has several exciting features named for some of their most famous albums and tracks, Fun Palace, Set the World on Fire and In Command.

Play’n GO continue to build themselves as a leading figure in the music slot sector, and the game joins the slot supplier’s ever-growing stable of music-based games, looking to follow in the success of previous titles such as House of Doom and Sabaton.

CPO Martin Zettergren spoke on the collaboration process as well as the game’s appeal to fans and the wider audience as well as:

“There was a real collaborative effort to give this game its level of realism and detail, which included visiting Jeff’s UK studio to capture the voice and video recordings; we worked together every step of the way."
