Play’n GO have revealed their move into Portugal today, announcing they are now certified to provide their content to operators in the Portuguese market.
This latest development is another in a series of the company’s expansions into new markets in order to expose their high-quality content to a wider global audience.
Following on from a very successful 2018, this follows moves into Sweden and the Philippines so far this year, with more expansion set to come.
The launch coincides with the expansion of the company’s partnership with PokerStars Casino, one of the world’s largest online casinos, into the Portuguese market. This means PokerStars Casino players in that region will instantly have access to the library of Play’n GO content, with more operators to follow.
Although only in its second full year of existence, the online gambling market in Portugal is thriving and a move into the region by one of the industry’s leading suppliers makes perfect sense.
With 40 games for release this year and their policy of making as much of their material compliant in every market they operate in, the Portuguese market will have a wealth of content available to entertain players right from the very start, with new titles to follow imminently.
Popular titles such as Rise of Olympus, Sweet Alchemy and the 2019 AskGamblers Slot of the Year winner Legacy of Egypt will all be launched into the market for players to enjoy.
CEO Johan Törnqvist was excited at the prospect of reaching another new market:
“We want as many people as possible to enjoy our games, and we also want our clients, both current and future, to be able to rely on us to have a presence wherever they seek to develop their operations.
We are excited by this move into a new market, and we look forward to exploring more new ground in the future.”
