Play’n GO were at Enada Primavera last week and it was a great event. As well as showcasing our products and strengthening our relationships in the market (as well as creating new ones); it was also our great pleasure to have Giulia La Stella, our Head of Sales for the region, sit down with GiocoNews for an exclusive interview. They talked about a range of topics including, opportunities in the Italian market, our products and the effect of the Dignity Decree on the industry.
You can watch the full interview in Italian here, but we’ve translated some of the best bits right here for you to read… enjoy!
On the attractiveness of the Italian market in light of the Dignity Decree: I believe that the Italian gaming market is one of the most attractive in the world, since betting and gaming, luck and fate, are part of our traditions. The Dignity Decree will generate a new type of competition based on increasing customers´ loyalty rather than focusing on the acquisition of new ones. I'd say that the marketing ban will also give a new opportunity to those companies with smaller marketing budgets, and it will result in a stronger focus on customer service and products such as promotional tools to stand out from the competition.
On Play’n GO strengths in the Italian market: Our strengths are more applicable to a number of markets since they are easily adaptable to any cultural environment. Focusing on Italy, we provide the right games and promotional tools to gain customers´ loyalty, which is one of the main challenges for operators in this market due to the heavy competition.
The quality of our products has been recognised with several international awards we have been presented with, in the last few months. This includes the Slot Provider of the Year (IGA), the Slot of the Year for Legacy of Egypt (AskGamblers Awards), Game Developer of the Year (SBC Awards), Games Vendor of the Year (Sigma), just to cite a few.Along with all the technical aspects of our products, we take pride in operating in the light of our company values: quality, trust and energy that we put into our daily operations.
On Play’n GO plans for the market: We are currently releasing new promotional features that will be available in Italy soon, along with several games launches planned for 2019. Talking about projects, we build up a brand-new tailored project for each of our clients, to collaborate in the most successful way so I'd say we'll come out with as many new projects as the market will require. We'll continue developing amazing games as Golden Colts and Queen's day Tilt, our latest releases from February, and attending the main exhibitions in the industry in order to meet new clients and introduce them to our award-winning products.
