WHAT’S THE STORY?

The famed explorer Rich Wilde has gotten into plenty of tough situations throughout his life, but now he’s about to be pushed to his very limits. After discovering another powerful Necronomicon, Rich must do everything he can to outrun the horrifying denizens of the Nameless Mist. It won’t be easy to escape the spawn of Yog-Sothoth but if any mortal can, it’s Rich Wilde. 

Help Rich lose the horrors at his heels and secure this evil tome to prevent catastrophe!  

FEATURES

On the run with his most valuable haul of artefacts, Rich Wilde isn’t about to let them fall back into the hands of this ancient deity’s maddening brood. Help Rich by spinning the 5x5 grid and seek these ancient bonus features to keep insanity at bay...

All-Seeing Eye 

There’s no avoiding the gaze of Yog-Sothoth's many eyes but this could be used to your advantage. Randomly on any spin, an Eye Frame can appear on the map to the left of the grid. Should any winning clusters appear on the grid in relation to the Eye Frame on the map, two to four Wild symbols will appear on the grid. This can lead to some unexpected cascading combos! 

Portal of Chaos 

With every win, the Portal of Chaos charges up by one per symbol. There are four levels you can reach at 8, 16, 30 and 48 charges. Each level provides a different portal effect. The first grants two to four Wilds, the second level can eliminate symbols, the third level can upgrade low-paying symbols into more valuable ones, and the final charge awards a Free Spin complete with all of the previous effects. 

It's also possible to overcharge the portal for seven additional effects, each requiring +4 winning symbols per effect. 

Damned Ritual 

Be wary. Messing with arcane tomes like the Necronomicon can be dangerous. The map to the left of the grid may light up with red and green eyes in various positions and you can activate the eyes by landing winning combinations on the marked positions. But should you trigger 12 purple eyes you’ll want to prepare yourself... 

This will summon the almighty Yog-Sothoth—grandfather to Cthulhu himself—as a 2x2 mega wild played out in a 3-step sequence. Alongside that, activating two, four, or six green eyes will apply a x2, x3, or x4 win multiplier to Yog-Sothoth's Mega Symbol. Additionally, all remaining portal effects will grant four Wilds during the summoning of this terrifying entity. 

You’d better make sure you’re prepared for this, as going toe-to-tentacle with an eldritch horror is no walk in the park. One wrong move and you and Rich might just lose your minds...

Inspired by the dark and fascinating world of H. P. Lovecraft, Rich Wilde and the Tome of Insanity follows on from Rich Wilde’s daring escapade to thwart the Cult of Cthulhu. Across the grid, you’ll see eldritch treasures galore, including gemstones resonating with malevolent energy, severed tentacles of nameless beasts from the beyond, one-eyed enchanted skulls, and the fabled Necronomicon, itself.
