Play’n Go’s talented Global Account Manager Lena Yasir was honoured with this year’s Leader of the Year iGaming (Supplier) award at the 9th Women in Gaming Diversity Awards.

The award was in deserved recognition of Lena’s hard work within the business ensuring that our relationships with our clients are maintained and cultivated at the highest level, making sure that Play’n Go provides the best service to our customers, and continues to work in the forefront of the market.

Lena’s nomination was one of seven received on the night including nominations for our HR Business Partner, Liana Mifsud (Employee of the Year); Chapter Lead Test, Irina Tyberg (Hidden Talent of the Year) and Account Manager, Maria Nilsson (Industry Achiever). We also had a second nominee in the Leader of the Year iGaming (Supplier) category, our Chief Marketing Officer Ebba Arnred.

Our nominations at this year’s award are a proud testament to the company’s commitment to introducing a diverse array of talent within the industry.

Lena herself was thrilled to receive the award, and for what these awards mean for the industry in general:

“I am truly honoured to be part of an organization that supports and believes so strongly in diversity. Play’n GO has identified that we need to encourage women to take on more responsibilities in this growing industry, and we have many managerial positions filled by strong leaders within the company.”

“I am extremely blessed to be surrounded by a team that is extremely professional and that I trust. Receiving the iGaming Leader or the Year award is an absolute pleasure and a responsibility that I will cherish and take to heart”
