Play’n GO took home the gold last night with an award win at the SBC Awards ceremony held at The Artillery Garden at the HAC in London.
The awards, now in its fifth year, were created to “recognise and reward expertise and innovation in the betting and gaming industries”, presenting awards to operators, affiliates and suppliers.
Play’n GO picked up the award for Game Developer of the Year and the win follows hot on the heels of their success at the Malta Gaming awards last week, where they took home the trophy in the Games Vendor of the Year category.
The company have picked up a number of wins for their games and development this year, solidifying their reputation as a force to be reckoned with, and one of the foremost suppliers in the gaming industry.
CEO Johan Törnqvist felt that the win was a great signifier of the Play’n GO ethos, when it comes to their games:
“Creating the best games is very important to us, and for our game development to receive this recognition, shows the industry that we are succeeding and standing by exactly what we promise to do.
This rounds off what has been a very productive and successful year for us and I would like to thank everybody at Play’n GO for the hard work and dedication that made this possible. This will spur us on for 2019, which is going to be a very big year for us.”
After receiving the prize Johan took a couple of seconds to speak on the honour of being recognised and how Play’n GO’s passion helped clinch the prize.
