19 January 2024—Play’n GO, the world’s leading casino entertainment provider, has today revealed that the company's December performance was the best month in the storied history of the nearly two-decade-old firm.

Blockbuster releases such as Gargantoonz released at the tail end of November, in addition to the breakout performance of the title Piggy Blitz in the USA – the number one game in New Jersey amongst all new releases – propelled the company to a record number of daily active players, rounds played and Gross Gambling Revenue in December.

These standout figures underline the success of Play’n GO in regulated markets around the world and come quickly after the one-day record was set for rounds played on 1 November, with close to a quarter of a billion spins registered.

Commenting on the continued growth trajectory of the business, Johan Törnqvist, CEO and Co-founder of Play’n GO, said:

“I’m immensely proud of the entire team today. It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone in the business that we can continue to grow and break our own lofty records.
“December was obviously a great month for us, but it doesn’t happen by chance. We are working hard to innovate across all areas of the business – many of which go unseen by most observers – and it’s brilliant to see great financial results that confirm we’re on a great path towards a sustainable and thriving business for many years to come.
“Although Play’n GO has been around for a while now, I feel like we’re only just getting started and can’t wait to see what 2024 brings.”

The company has recently expanded its reach into the wider entertainment industry with the launch of Play’n GO Music in addition to becoming a sponsor of the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team.
